Tellallmyfriends has two unique shotgun shooting experiences available that are perfect introductions to the world of shooting, whether you’re an old hand or you’ve never held a shotgun before in your life. When you arrive at one of England’s most prestigious shooting clubs you’ll be issued with your firearms and a box of 50 shells which are yours to use on any of the ranges you like best. You’ll be given a brief introduction and shown how to shoot a shotgun, as well as issued with safety gear and be given a safety briefing.

Once you’re all kitted up and armed you’ll head over to the clay pigeon shooting range for some target practice! This shooting activity is a lot more difficult than it looks, but it’s perfect for getting a feel for the shotgun and learning to hit a moving target. After you’ve mastered the clay pigeon shoot you’ll move on to more challenging tasks. These include high pheasants, which are clay pigeons that fly high and fast, and are much more difficult to hit, but offer a closer experience to shooting wild game birds.

After this you could even try your hand at the rabbit – a clay pigeon that runs along the ground at a crazy speed and is one of the most difficult moving targets to hit. Getting the hang of this will truly prove that you have a knack for shotgun shooting! Your box of 50 shells can be used on any of the ranges, or simply for playing around at the static target range. You can also go and visit any of the other ranges and see how the pros do it.
