Glass Blowing and Glass Fusing

Glass blowing sounds daunting to most people who have never tried it, but it’s actually not as difficult as it looks! With the right tools and equipment, and with the helpful guidance of your teacher, you’ll soon be creating masterpieces that are great as gifts or will look fantastic in your home.
Glass fusing workshops are available for beginners or novices, and offer a great introduction to the world of glass craft. You’ll learn how to use all of the equipment and work with different kinds of glass to create different effects. Once you’ve mastered the basics on one of the Tellallmyfriends one or two day glass fusing workshops you’ll be ready to start creating beautiful glass sculptures of your own.
Glass blowing is an ancient art, but thanks to today’s technology it’s easily accessible, and great fun to learn. You’ll learn about working with different kinds of glass, how to use blowtorches and furnaces to create different shapes, and you’ll even have a try at creating your own vase and paperweights to take home and show off to your friends! If you’ve always been fascinated by glass blowers at fairs and expos, then you’ll love the chance to try your hand at shaping glass and creating your own masterpiece.
